QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
are your fans and motors made in USA?
Many of our fans are made in the U.S. This fan is imported.
-
I am looking at using this in my wood shop, I see that it says the bearings are sealed, is the motor sealed and able to work in a saw dust environment?
The fan is rated for outdoor use, so yes it is sealed.
-
It has 2 speeds. Where are the controls for the fan speed?
The 2 speed switch is a pull-chain on the motor itself.
-
How is the rated cfm possible with only1/8 HP electric motor?
5850 CFM is based on 0” static pressure. There is bound to be some static pressure caused by the building it is installed in, and the CFM’s will be reduced.
-
The switch blocks a part of the intake area. Does this affect the cfm?
5850 CFM is an approximate air movement that this fan does, and no the switch should not interfere with this air movement capacity.
