Why Use High Velocity Fans?

The high velocity fan, unlike an average air circulator fan, can project a stream or beam of air over long distances (typically up to 100 ft.) by utilizing venturi effect and design of the fan to force air through the smaller end opening. Whereas, the typical air circulation fan is designed to stir stale or stagnant air in a wide pattern within a given space. These standard air circulators do not project the air over long distances.

Where To Use A High Velocity Fan?

High velocity fans can be used in multiple applications, such as factory assembly lines for cooling workers, work stations, conveyor systems for cooling workers or product processes, isles, mezzanines, loading docks, truck trailer internal cooling, sporting events, such as football and soccer, where players sit in a line on a bench, or the fan(s) can not be located close to the players. Basically anywhere long distance air movement is required the high velocity fan is a great piece of ventilation equipment to have on hand.
