Can be install this fans in any position?
Yes, this fan can be mounted in any position.

This Air Max fan is specified at 62 dBA noise level at five feet. Is this a misprint? Should it be 50 feet? A similar fan; Patterson H30C is 82.2 dBA at 20 feet; which is much much louder than the 62 dBA at 5 feet. Please advise; since this fan may be too noisy for my application. Thank You.

What would the mph be at about 100 feet?
Thank you for your question. The manufacturer does not rate these units for MPH, but below is a throw chart from another manufacturer that should have similar performance. The air speed is measured in feet per minute, so at about 100 feet, you are looking at about 300-400 FPM.
