This galvanized box fan line features heavy gauge G90 galvanized components for long life and harsh environments, heavy gauge OSHA compliant galvanized wire guards, and sealed ball bearing duty motors. Industrial grade fan blades are matched with the motors for maximum efficiency, airflow and motor life. Each box fan includes a hanging bracket as well as eyebolt holes in the cabinets for hanging options.

Is this exhaust fan meant to be installed in the gable of a metal build?
This is a wall mount exhaust fan. It really doesn't matter if it is in a gable of a building, as long as it is mounted vertically.
