Shutter Mounted Exhaust Fan is perfect for removing excess heat, moisture, dust and odors from virtually any residential or commercial space. Applications include: workshops, welding rooms, restaurants, factories, warehouses, barns, and greenhouses. This wall mounted exhaust fan features aluminum blades, OSHA compliant wire guards, and automatic gravity shutters that open and close in conjunction with the operation of the fan. The completely enclosed motor is thermally protected and permanently lubricated. This fan comes fully assembled and ready to install out of the box.

What wiring is required between the speed controller and fan?

Using the Variable Speed Control, what is the low end CFM and noise estimate? Are the louvers all connected so that they all operate together?

Thank you for your question. The manufacturer only provides the high CFM rating of 3340 and a 7.10 sones at 10', which is at the high setting.

The louvres are gravity operated, and utilize a tie bar so they all open/close at the same time.
Is the weather hood required for mounting to exhaust to the outdoors or are these weatherproof as is?

The weather hoods are not required. They are designed to be added protection against driving winds and rain.
Can these fans be purchased without the shutters...just the fan and motor?

No. These are pre-packaged fan assemblies.
