Shutter Mounted Exhaust Fan is perfect for removing excess heat, moisture, dust and odors from virtually any residential or commercial space. Applications include: workshops, welding rooms, restaurants, factories, warehouses, barns, and greenhouses. This wall mounted exhaust fan features aluminum blades, OSHA compliant wire guards, and automatic gravity shutters that open and close in conjunction with the operation of the fan. The completely enclosed motor is thermally protected and permanently lubricated. This fan comes fully assembled and ready to install out of the box.

Can this be plugged into a normal 3 prong outlet?

Yes this can be plugged into a normal outlet.
Will this fan remove wood dust and will it mount between 16 inch center studs.

Thank you for your questions. This unit is 15" wide to the outside flanges, so it should fit between your studs perfectly. It also has a totally enclosed motor that is great for dusty and dirty air as it will stay protected.

Can this fan be used for exhaust in a paint booth

We can not recommend standard fans, that are not rated as explosion proof or for hazardous locations for a paint booth.

Yes. This fan can be wired to a variable speed control. The recommended control would be the MC5.
How big of a fan do I need for a 60x40 building 20feet tall for exhaust heat out of building do I need fan for bringing air in too building to in Kentucky pretty warm here

You will need between 10,000-11,000 cfm to exchange the air through your building every 5 minutes, which tends to work well unless you have machinery or other processes that produce alot of heat. For the air intake, you can use an intake shutter, that is wired up to the same switch as the fan. When the fan turns on, it will open the shutter, and close when it is turned off. This unit from the same manufacturer is a good option.
