Low Pressure Volume Blowers
Low Pressure Volume Blowers
Unlike the high pressure blower, the high volume low pressure blower fan does not pressurize or sustain a given pressure within a closed or sealed environment. These blowers are designed to pull in or push out large volumes of air which are rated in CFM's or cubic feet per minute. Volume blowers are designed to function within a low static pressure environment, and will not perform well in medium to high static locations. Applications for these blower fans include forced cooling of AC and DC motors, electrical cabinet ventilation, plastics process cooling, ink drying in printing rooms, general combustion air, removal of welding smoke and fumes.
Standard and explosion proof blowers and blower cooling fans come in a wide range of types: Pressure Blowers for areas or ducting with moderate to high static pressures, Volume Blowers to move a large amount of air over a specific area.
