This fan moves up to 250 CFM (cubic feet per minute). To get the cubic feet of an area, you will take the length x width x height. Once you find out the cubic feet of your room size, you will want to determine how many air changes you want per hour. If you want 10 air changes per hour, that would equate to once every 6 minutes. So with this fan to change the air once every 6 minutes, your room size can be 1500 cubic feet (6 minutes x 250 CFM). This is just an example>
