How do you determine the cfm exchange rate? My building is 28x46x14 high walls and is an uninsulated steel building.

Which way does the air flow when you turn it on? From inside out? Or outside in?
The air travels from the motor side out through the shutter side.

Will the 16" Galvanized Hood GH-XF16-M fit correctly on the 14" direct drive exhaust fan S14-E1? It comes up as highly recommended items...
The all weather hoods are not designed to fit to the fans. These hoods are mounted on outside of building. The GH-XF16-M is the recommended hood for this fan.

Is the motor side of fan on the outside of the building other words what is air flow direction
Motor on this fan will be on inside of building.

How about energy bill?
This fan only draws 1.8 full load amps. Energy consumprion is quite low.

What are the rough an measurement I know the outside measurement but I need the inside measurement
Rough-in opening for this fan is 17" x 17". NOTE: We never recommend cutting your opening unitl the fan arrvies. The manufacturer can change dimensions of fans without notice.
