The VES Environmental Solutions Exhaust Fan Series are an economical and versatile exhaust fan. The totally enclosed motor comes complete with built in speed switches and a 9´ cord. No electrician is required, just mount the fan in the wall and plug it into an approved receptacle. The corrosion resistant aluminum shutter comes complete with a tie bar to reduce shutter flapping and keep the shutters closed when the fan is not running. On the intake side of the fan the balanced aluminum blade is protected by a durable painted grill.

Are the louvers manual operation or open automatically when fan is turned on?
These louvers open and close automatically.

how is the speed adjusted? Does it need a speed controller?
This exhaust fan does need an additional speed control that is wired to the outlet. This fan can only be dialed down to approx. 2/3 speed or CFM.

How noisy is this unit as I have invested Time and money in this shop and want to enjoy my retirement in the shop. I don't mind humming etc.. It is 24 by 40 ft. Please recommend other units that would serve my purpose (but if this unit will do the job let me know but if loud and noisy suggest others) Thank You and I look forward to your answer. Rod Williams
