The AX series exhaust fan is a sturdily constructed, direct drive, horizontal discharge fan that is typically used for general ventilation of factories, garages, warehouses and other industrial or commercial buildings. The AX fans are available in multiple single-speed variations as well as two speed and variable speed models. The AX series housings are constructed of heavy duty aluminum with built in shutters that automatically open when the fan starts and gravity closes when the fan stops.

Can this be used for a paint booth

This fan is a paint booth rated explosion proof fan for exhaust.
Can you supply a fan chart for this fan, or the CFM at 1/2" of water quage?

These AX series fans are only rated to 1/4" static pressure.
What size weather hood can be used with the AX24-4, 24”

Can this unit be rinsed with low pressure water for cleaning purposes?

Thank you for your question. These motors should not be directly sprayed down with water, even at a low pressure. We reccomend wiping them down with a damp cloth or mild, water based degreaser.
Can I use this at the end of 18' of 24" duct as an inline fan?

This fan is not designed to work in ducting due to the static pressure increase.
Can you add a filter?

These exhaust fans are not designed to work with much static pressure so the pre-filtration would need to be very minimal.
Can this be mounted so the baffles are on the outside of the building?

Yes. This fan is desgned to mount from the inside of the wall, and the shutters aimed to the outside of the building.
Can I use a variable speed controller with this model?

These explosion proof fans are designed for On / Off use (not variable speed).
