How loud/quiet is this fan?
Thank you for your question. Unfortunatley, the manufacturer does not test or determine the noise ratings for these units. However, a similarly sized unit that moves more air is rated at 77dB.

Which variable speed control switch is the right one for this fan?
The MC5-A is a speed control that will work well. This control does need to be hard-wired to the outlet that you plug the fan into.
