The VES Environmental Solutions Exhaust Fan Series are an economical and versatile exhaust fan. The totally enclosed motor comes complete with built in speed switches and a 9´ cord. No electrician is required, just mount the fan in the wall and plug it into an approved receptacle. The corrosion resistant aluminum shutter comes complete with a tie bar to reduce shutter flapping and keep the shutters closed when the fan is not running. On the intake side of the fan the balanced aluminum blade is protected by a durable painted grill.

No. This is specifically a 3 speed fan with a built-in switch for speed control.

What clearance is required overall to mount the fan (edge to edge dimensions of mounting frame)?
The rough-in opening needs to be 12.5" x 12.5". We always suggest waiting for the fan to arrive before cutting the opening due to the potential that a manufacturer change to the design without notice.
