The sones for this unit (CFA500A) is 3.0 at 0.0" static pressure, up to 6.7 at 1.0" static pressure

what size is duct work, picture shows round and specs show 4.5x18.5 square , also will this take smell out of room 12x12 fast , and dpoes it need to be vented outside with 4x18 duct or can we reduce and if so yes what is the smallest reduction recommended
This is a rectangular opening to be ducted (4.5" x 18.5"). Usually this will be transitioned to a round ducting by the installing contractor.
