Is this the appropriate fan to exhaust a finsh room when spraying lacquer on wood products?
If you need an explosion proof exhaust fan, this exhaust fan unit should be appropriate. The CFM is something that you will need to determine is enough air exchange for your area. You may want to use the Fan CFM Calculator on our site for this.

can you add ductwork to back of fan
This type of exhaust fan is not designed for much static pressure, so duct work is not suggested to add to this fan.

Is this compatible for C1 D2 Group B applications?
We do not currently carry explosion proof equipment for Group B applications.
