Explosion Proof Controls

These temperature controls are suitable for use in hazardous locations, like grain elevators, chemical plants, and mines. They control temperatures in Class I, Group D and Class II, Groups E, F, and G hazardous locations. These controls are compatible with single-stage systems that have a capillary tube and sensor that monitor and regulate the temperature of the ambient air, a liquid, or a gas at a distance away from the control. The sensing element is not affected by changes in barometric pressure or cross-ambient conditions to ensure accurate temperature regulation.

Explosion proof disconnect switches are engineered for use in the most demanding applications such as drilling rigs, utilidors and compression stations where high vibration, dirt, moisture, fluctuating power and high impact conditions exist. They are designed for use in hazardous locations where specific explosive gases or dusts are present.
