The Canarm AX series exhaust fans are a sturdily constructed, direct drive, horizontal discharge fan that is typically used for general ventilation of factories, garages, warehouses and other industrial or commercial buildings. The AX fans are available in multiple single-speed variations as well as two-speed and variable speed models. The AX series housings are constructed of heavy duty aluminum with built in shutters that automatically open when the fan starts and gravity closes when the fan stops.

Do you offer a 24in louvered exhaust fan in colors other than steel gray?
We do not carry the shutter mounted exhaust fans in colors.

1. What is maximum speed (RPM) of fan? 2. What are decibel ratings for maximum (and other?) RPMs?
RPM high for this unit is 1,100. Decibel level is 72 at 5 ft.

Looking for a 120 volt variable speed industrial shutter side exhaust fan not made in China. Probably 24 inch as my shop needs to exhaust high summer time heat in Arizona. Shop size is 60 feet wide by 40 feet deep and about 12 feet tall. I am guessing this is roughly 5500 CFM? Will this fan run on high speed when needed at a wall plug of just 120?
This fan will exchange the air in your shop approx. every 5 minutes. The fan is designed to be hard-wired. It does not come with a cord / plug. It will run on its highest speed just turning the fan On.

Is their a variable speed switch for the 230v fan ?
The JDMV1 is a 115 / 230 volt variable speed and On/Off control

Pricing & specs for 30", 36", 42" fans like this? (Presume dimension is blade length)
We do not currently offer the variable speed direct drive fan like the AX24-1V in a 30", 36" or 42"

I purchased the AX24-1V/24, do I need the variable speed switch or can I just connected to 120V and if so do I use the black and white wires and disregard the others, there wasn't a wiring diagram included.
Because you bought this variable speed fan does not mean you have to run it as a vairiable speed. If you just wire it to an On/Off switch it will just run on high. Regarding the wiring instructions, you may want to contact the manufacturer Canarm directly at: 800-267-4427

Can the AX24-1V/24 be wired for 120, will it affect the performance.
This fan is designed to be wired for either 115V or 230V. It will not change the performance.
