The King PCKF industrial portable outdoor rated unit heater is constructed to hold up to the rigorous demands of a jobsite or industrial facility. This unit heater is the very BEST heat source to assist in complete “Dry-out” applications, where dry electric heat is preferred to propane or kerosene space heaters. In addition, electric heat omits absolutely no odor, flame or carbon monoxide. The high CFM and moderate temperature rise are also key features to make this unit heater the very best solution for temporary large capacity heating and dry-out applications. Comes standard with a remote thermostat & 100’ cord plus a 12″ collar for adding a flexible duct to extend the heated air to where it is needed. The Industrial Steel Frame complies with the FAA’s Airport regulations of 18 inch above the ground for air inlet of the heater to reduce the jet fuel vapor being drawn in. This outdoor rated portable unit heater allows you to place the heater outside in the rain and feed heated air into a building structure, plane, container, apartment, ship or any work area requiring heated dry fresh air and not take up space in the work area. Includes an intake rain baffle and electrical compartment rain cover and is UL approved for Outdoor Use.

Features

Construction: The heater case is fabricated from high tensile 18 gauge electrogalvanized steel that is welded together forming a durable unibody cabinet. Heater is finished with a rust inhibiting epoxy coating. 12” Duct Transition: A flexible 12” duct can be added to extend the heated air to where it is needed.

 Replaceable Intake Air Filter: Protects against foreign objects entering the heater. 1“x 16” x 24“prevents dirt and dust build up in the heater.

 N.E.M.A. 12 Wiring Compartment: The wiring compartment is sealed with a ¼” high density polyurethane gasket. This provides excellent protection against moisture, dust and dirt from invading the electrical components and wiring. All optional control accessories are N.E.M.A. 12 rated.

Outdoor Rating: UL certified for use in outdoor wet locations. Includes intake rain baffle and electrical compartment rain cover.

Spiral Fin Elements: The metal sheath element is brazed with spiral fins and then formed into a coil configuration. This combination produces the best heat transfer while eliminating the potential for hot spots by positioning the element in the maximum airflow stream.

Blower & Motor: Totally enclosed outdoor ball bearing fan motor. Permanently lubricated, class B insulation, auto-protected, permanent split capacitor and 60°C ambient. Large capacity dual-inlet blower handles high static pressure and moves large air volume. Motor leads are enclosed in a seal tight raceway to prolong equipment life & reduce maintenance.

Remote Temperature Control: Indulges a remote thermostat with 100’ cord to temperature from a remote location.

Auto-Reset Thermal Cutout: Power is disconnected from the element if an overheated condition occurs. The fan continues to run to dissipate excess heat from the element. The element is re-energized automatically when the normal operating temperature returns.

Approvals: UL Certified to comply with UL 2021, standard for Fixed and Location-Dedicated Electric Room Heaters and CSA C22.2 No. 46 for Electric Air-Heaters.
